Due to incurring a serious sports injury, Avneet experienced significant exposure to physiotherapy early in her life. Her curiosity grew about the rehabilitation process and the types of treatment required for the vast variety of patients and injuries. Because of her newly developed passion in the human body and healing, as well as the drive to help others, she decided to pursue a career in physiotherapy.
Avneet graduated from UBC with a Bachelor’s in Kinesiology. She then moved to Australia to complete her Master’s of Physiotherapy at the University of Queensland. Avneet is looking forward to a life-long career in physiotherapy and to continue to expand her professional development, knowledge and experience further in a postgraduate setting.

She appreciates the unique opportunity of being able to work one-on-one with clients in their homes to achieve their goals and overall improve their quality of life.
She can speak fluent English and Punjabi. In her free time, she enjoys a balanced and healthy lifestyle of spending time with her family and friends, hiking, running, eating good food and travelling.
